World Record Bonefish?
12.17.08

Sweaty Waders pal Captain Ted Christie holds a 15.6 lb bonefish caught by angler Michael Swerdlow. Despite Christie’s unkempt appearance and smelly truck he has become one of the most sought after keys guides. While it is not official yet this bone crushes the current record. Congratulations Ted!

Yes Ale, Very Gomo
10.07.08

My 10th year (1998-2008) in Mongolia and can’t wait to go back for more.  I’ve handled many 50″ plus fish over the years but I have never seen the elusive 60 incher.  But as things would go the newest guide in our staff Alejandro Bianchetti (head guide at Villa Maria, TDF) would land one in his second week guiding.  All I have to say is what a prick!!!!! Good job Ale and Grif Towle the angler of the year.  Hey Grif you should look happier your holding a 60 incher!!!!

Shop Joey Turns Fish Guide

Shop Joey Zach Pierce completes his first summer of guiding on the Nushagak River and King Salmon River in Alaska. The Nushagak River is located in southwest Alaska, beginning in the Alaskan range and flowing into Nushagak Bay, an inlet of Bristol Bay. Guiding for legendary outfitter Dave Egdorf, Zach had an amazing summer catching big rainbows and wasn’t fired, didn’t kill any clients so the summer was a success. Zach owes all of his achievements to his legendary mentors in Livingston: Dan Vermillion and Dave (FBI) Goff. Nice job guys!

Guide Kris Kennedy tests his luck.
