World Record Bonefish?

Sweaty Waders pal Captain Ted Christie holds a 15.6 lb bonefish caught by angler Michael Swerdlow. Despite Christie’s unkempt appearance and smelly truck he has become one of the most sought after keys guides. While it is not official yet this bone crushes the current record. Congratulations Ted!

Many greetings from the land “down-under”. Congratulations to my awesome brother, Teddy Christie. Happy New Year! All the best for many more great catches! Pamela Christie-Kefalas

was that fish caught on a bottom rig? and if so they musta had one hell of a piece of squid on that sucker!

That fish was caught on a fly. No chum involved.

We have caught fish this size here on Exuma — yes, we have pictures — but have released them all. We catch them on flies, wading barefoot. We have, without a doubt, the best bonefish in the world….
